Playing the chimes at Romare Bearden Park is not only enjoyed by the young but also the young at heart. I’ll admit I play them regularly (smile) … recently I heard a guide explain that the park, flowers, fountains, and rocks were laid out following the pattern of a collage which was one of Romare Bearden styles.
This photo was taken at 300 South Church Street. Following is a Wikipedia article about Romare Bearden who the park was name after.
