The Historic Ratcliffe Flowers sign stands in the Green with the Mint Museum in the background. There is an interesting story, in the Charlotte Business Journal, about the Ratcliffe’s Flowers building, the construction of the Ratcliffe condos, and the preservation and incorporation of the original architecture.
Note that I have also included people in the scene because recently my post have focused on empty lonely scenes. Today I went looking for photo opportunities which included people. Most people are waring mask or social distancing.
Also, note that the the Mint Museum is the same museum I mentioned in yesterday’s post.
Following is an article about Look at what we pass every day. Charlotte’s history, told through signs. Also, a link has been included for today’s photo saved on Flickr with the caption Ratcliffe Flowers sign with the Mint Museum in the background.
