This is a photo of the newly constructed Marriott in Uptown Charlotte. It appears to be close to completion because they are planting trees in the green spaces around the building. I especially like the mirrors and glass in this perspective.
A recent article, found in the Charlotte Observer, stated that there are center city construction plans worth three billion dollars in 2021.
Connie says that the construction should be ahead of schedule because of reduced traffic during the pandemic. And we can attest that construction vehicles have taken over the streets. Often closing several lanes and only leaving one lane open.
