Over 100 of these nodes have recently been installed in Uptown. The first step was to lay fiber optic cable which involved cutting small two inch wide ditches, laying the fiber, and then patching the asphalt. Then, they constructed nodes as shown in today’s photo. And the next step appears that they will connect the nodes to 5G networks.
