There is most likely a logical explanation for this scene. However, I doubt the driver was going to turn over his truck, trailer, and equipment over to the hotel valet. I suspect this is another instance of repairs occurring, during the pandemic, when traffic and business was slow.

The Hotel Valet is for Ivey’s which has an interesting history. Ivey’s started as a department store, became a condo, then an hotel. However, they have added Residence and their website encourages longer stays.
