Truist Park

Today’s photo shows our empty baseball stadium, called Truist Park, in uptown Charlotte. But it will not be empty long. The first home game is scheduled for April 6th. Truist Park was previously know as BB&T Park. However, the name changed along with the bank’s name.

Personally, I think it may be a little early to open sporting events. However, I was pleased to find that the Charlotte Knights’ website explains their Covid health and safety protocols include limited capacity, social distancing, and mask.

Truist Park is home to the Charlotte Knights, a Minor League Baseball (MiLB) team. Following is a link to the Charlotte Knights’ website. In addition we are sharing a link for today’s photo saved on Flickr with the caption: Truist Park in uptown Charlotte.

Note that this photo has been touched up using Photoshop. Following is a link showing the original photo which included a wire running directly through the middle of the photo. Photoshop’s healing brush removed the wire from the sky but if you look closely you can see the wire still crosses in front of the mid rise building just to the left of center.

Also, of interest. If you zoom in there is a window washing crew busy at work on about the 19 floor of the white building just right of center in the photo.
