Today’s photo continues my evening stroll mini-series. The foreground features a park bench with long shadows from the evening sun. The photo was taken in Romare Bearden Park in uptown Charlotte. Romare Bearden was born in Charlotte and died 1988. Bearden was an artist, author, and song writer.
A Google search finds that “the park design is based on Bearden’s collages and paintings”.
