This last weekend I took this photo of a wedding party outside of Saint Peters in uptown Charlotte. I especially liked the red bridesmaid dresses and the white Rolls Royces. They add a nice touch of color.
Wedding, births, and life events continue even during a pandemic. I observed that some wore mask until the excited the church ands I assume those in a attendance were vaccinated.
In the South End district there is a discovery around every corner, which includes this beautiful building. The Catholic Charities is housed in this building as well as the Catholic Diocese of Charlotte. I like the windows and the flowers.
Today’s photo is of the First Baptist Church as seen from the Fahrenheit Restaurant & Lounge on top of the Skye Condos in Uptown Charlotte. I like this photo because it contrast to yesterday’s photo which had a perspective of looking upward while this shows the view from one of those tall buildings. You can see that Uptown Charlotte is not all office towers. There is room for churches and parks and low-rise hotels and apartments. Mostly I like that the photo shows that Uptown had an abundance of trees (smile).
