This is a follow-up photo to yesterday’s photo. The photo from yesterday and today’s photo show the same house in the 1st ward of uptown Charlotte. The difference are the power lines. The wires were removed, from today’s photo, by using a DJI Pocket camera which has a setting to automatically take six photos and stitch them together in a panoramic format. The DJI Pocket camera also has a lens mounted on a gimbal which acts as a stabilizer.
As the name implies, the camera fits in your pocket :)
Note that in today’s photo, there was some camera distortion given I was standing so close to the house. Some of the distortion was removed using PhotoShop.
In the sprite of the season we are sharing a photo of a Halloween caution sign. If you look closely there is a caution sign about the witch.
Note that used photoshop to replace the sky with something a little more ominous than the beautiful blue sky on the day when this photo was taken.
On a personal note: A few years back we were enjoying a drink at a local bar and during a conversation with a new acquaintance he mentioned that he lived in the 4th ward in the home painted blue. But he did not mention a witch (smile).
The bird house is what caught my eye. The human house is eye catching as well. The double porches is especially nice. Also, they have swings and artwork on the porch … the paint is also eye catching. However, I especially loved the bird house.
Razor wire, beautiful homes, and a message of Faith not Fear. This photo was taken in the South End district near uptown Charlotte. The razor wire is around an industrial business. What caught my attention was the contrast shown in this scene.
