This photo shows the Charlotte skyline as seen from Marshall Park. The buildings in the skyline are; Duke Energy Center, Museum Tower apartments, Three Wells Fargo, One Wells Fargo, Two Wells Fargo, Charlotte Plaza, Hyatt Place/Skye Condo, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, and Bank of America Corporate Center.
The photo was taken last weekend on a walk from Uptown, to the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, then along East Boulevard, to the light Rail Trail, and back to Uptown.
Today’s photo shows where Duke Energy is building a 40 story tower on South Tryon in Uptown Charlotte. This is one of four construction sties within two blocks.

Another beautiful day with more blooms. Once again a photo opportunity presented itself in our favorite park, The Green.

Hints of spring include: cherry blossoms blooming in Uptown Charlotte and buds on other trees. This is a great time of year with surprises around each corner.

Maybe in 2017, when the Telsa model III is releases, we will buy one of these. I understand they are targeting a more affordable price point. My daughter says I will not be happy with an “affordable” Tesla given the luxury will be missing. But mainly I’m interested in the plugin technology. So I’m holding off to buy our next car until 2017.
As for the photo. I like the reflection and the Tesla logo. This photo was taken in Uptown Charlotte near 550 South Tryon Street. The reflection shows the Duke Energy Center which we have shared photos of before.
