The Southend, of Charlotte, is a combination of busy and empty scenes. Unfortunately some businesses have not made it. However, as today’s photo shows there are busy scenes as well. Lots of potential for increased business and increased spread of the virus.
You can tell from the perspective that I was walking in the street when I took this photo.
Restaurants offering outdooring dinning are the busiest. Given, we are now vaccinated we enjoyed an outdoor meal last night. We arrived early and it was easily to maintain physical distance.

Outdoor dining will be awhile off here. Most of the restaurants here are relying on take out and delivery for the time being, but social distanced dining is allowed at present.
